Sitting in ” our place” having lunch with the kids. What’s up with schools having holidays so soon after Xmas. I understand being closed for MLK day but why Friday too? So instead of burning. Single day of vacation to stay home with your kids you are forced to burn 2. We are lucky that both my wife and I can work from home so we don’t lose the vacation, but everyone is not as lucky.

Sunday, January 10th, 2010Hello world!! I am a master geek and enjoy lots of different things. I have been in aerospace engineering for 20 years and recently left for a job in supply chain analysis. I have a BS in business (management) and an MBA. I follow everything having to do with technology so I tend to be the local “tech Guy” whether the questions being posed are about HDTV or why someone’s computer randomly shuts down. I am a whiz at excel but need more practice at macros and access. at some point I want to start a podcast but haven’t found the time or impetus to start it yet. The reason I am starting this blog now is because I am the web admin for a couple of Masonic lodges (I am a Past Master and current treasurer) and need to figure out the configurations. Also, my Dad and I are planning a cross-county motorcycle trip this summer, with a stop over in Sturgis, and I plan on using this site to promote the trip and allow people to follow us along the way. That should be interesting. Well that’s about it for the introduction. If you have questions about anything (and I do mean anything) shoot me an email and I’ll get back to you ASAP.
