We made it to Oklahoma. Fueling up in Buffalo about 50 miles left for today. Dad said the best thing about Oklahoma is that it’s next to Texas. I have to agree.

Stopped in Ness, Kansas for gas and lunch. We stopped about 25 miles short of where we actually had planned but it’s REALLY hot and we were sore too so 100 miles in a stretch is enough. We think we will stop for a bit every 50 miles or so for the rest of the day.

Making good time so far. Just entered Kansas and stopped for gas.

We made to our stop for the day and just in time for snacks and beer. It was a tough day. Got bad gas in the morning and heat and wind in the afternoon. But we saw Rushmore, Crazy Horse, amd buffalo herd in Custer National Park.

And we now have WiFi!!! YAY!!!

We stopped for lunch at Taco Johns in Chadron, Nebraska. After coming out of the mountains it started to get really hot. We got some bad gas this morning heading out of sturgis and my bike didn’t want to run with it. I even took 2 of the spark plugs out to check them in the Mt Rushmore parking lot. They looked fine and once we got some decent gas mixed with it it was fine.

Getting food before heading out towards deadwood. Apparently McD’s is popular with the bikers.

We are ready to roll out heading to Mt Rushmore and Crazy Horse and a really wild ride. Then it’s Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, and home on Friday.
